RUSSELL “RUS” LABBE

Russell “Rus” Labbe, 71, died Monday, November 19, 2007 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. Mr. Labbe was a native of Somerset, Massachusetts and had been a longtime resident of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. He was a member of Savannah Christian Church and was the owner and operator of Labbe Glass on Hilton Head Island.

Surviving are, his wife, Annette B. Labbe of Ridgeland, SC., daughters, Penny Gesauldi of Ridgeland, SC, Linda Gesauldi of Cranston, RI, Heidi Labbe of Cranston, RI, Carrie Detlinger of Beaufort, SC, Denise Ahern of Savannah, GA, a son, Ken Ahern of Bluffton, SC., eleven grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Visitation will be Friday, November 23, 2007 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel.

Memorial Services will be Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Savannah Christian Church.
